Services
Program Development & Evaluation
Whether you are just starting to plan or want to analyze and build on how far you have already come, an outside eye or an extra pair of hands can help any program flourish. For new dual and heritage language programs, Cultivating Multiliteracy can provide full program design, roll-up plans, and implementation coaching. For existing programs, Program evaluations aligned to the Guiding Principles of Dual Language or the research and evidence based best practices for Heritage Language Programs are available PK-12.
Curriculum Development
It is difficult to provide a guaranteed and viable curriculum in language and literacy programs. As seen in the 2025 plea by ELSF and CA school districts, for dual or heritage language programs looking for high quality language arts materials in Spanish and other community languages, there may not be anything to purchase. Cultivating Multiliteracy can provide curriculum writing services, materials selection support, and training so school or program can staff to create the materials that support under-resourced languages.
Standards & Alignment Studies
Experience matters when working on standards writing and alignment study projects. It can make or break a project to translate research into clear, effective learning objectives that promote comprehensive literacy in English and partner languages. Knowing if and how standards align to teaching and testing practices can be even more complex. If you are looking for training and support, a completed study, or newly written standards, Cultivating Multiliteracy can bring knowledge of the research in reading, writing, and language development, and experience at the state, district, and independent school levels to your project.
